Situated around 13 kms north-west of Ghatshila, Panch Pandav is a famous place which bears mythological importance. It is a prehistoric rock on the Subarnorekha river bank situated in Dahigora area. The rock is bearing the figures of five men. According to the local people these five figures are the Pandava brothers from the epic Mahabharata. It is believed that Panch Pandava of Mahabharata visited this place and stayed overnight here during their ‘Agyatabash’.
